Believe it or believe it not, 2016 will very shortly be drawing to a close, and 2017 will be upon us, and by the time that happens, I will have been blogging for almost 2 years. I feel like as I approach this (kind of) grand milestone, it’s maybe time to start switching things up a bit.
For the last year and a half, I’ve mainly stuck to reviews of films and tv (you may have guessed that much from my site’s name), and more recently, over the last few months I think it’s reasonable to say that I’ve branched out significantly. I became a LAMB over the summer; joined Twitter; attempted YouTube (I’ll get round to making that a more regular thing in the New Year I hope) and, perhaps the biggest move, became a regular host on the Talking Stars podcast. Alongside this, I’ve also been trying to post more regularly on the site with my trusty ‘Film and TV Facts’, and have started engaging with Instagram more. However, if I’m completely honest, the few small changes I’ve made to the site and things I’ve been doing to try and publicise it all haven’t really altered my stats in the way I would have liked.
So, this is where you come in, my lovely readers/followers/worshippers (delete as necessary). I am asking you what it is you would like to see on Film And TV 101, whether that be more of what has been going on, or less if the case may be. Maybe you have a suggestion for a weekly feature?
The point is, my work would be pointless if it wasn’t for you guys, so I think it is only fair that you have a say in what sort of content you’d like to see. If there is anything that takes your fancy after reading this, get in touch with me. There’s email, Twitter and the fail-safe comment section below, so if you have any ideas, don’t hold back 🙂
Looking forward to hopefully hearing from you all,
